Hi! Do any of you suffer from health anxiety? I take meds and go to therapy for it, but I have my moments where it rears it's ugly head! I lost my mom
from leukemia in 2005, and ever since then I've probably had my blood work done a dozen times! Every time it's normal, but instead of being reassured
that it's normal and moving on, I worry because the white blood counts fluctuate anywhere from 5,000's to 8,000's - (8,000's yesterday when
checked) - I know the normal range is like 4,000 to 10,000, and I don't have symptoms, but I worry that it might creep out of the normal range above 10,000
- it's like I need to get a grip that "I'm not my mom" - her oncologist told me after she died that blood cancers are not hereditary, but I
still fret every time I do get an ache or pain or a symptom that she had (like bruising) that can be from so many different things besides cancer!
